Welcome to the SHTC (Society of Holistic Therapists and Coaches) Training Services.

We are a UK Based professional association of therapists and life coaches formed to represent those therapists and coaches who have externally accredited qualifications to appropriate standards. We exist to enable the public to contact appropriately qualified therapists, and to provide professional support and registration for our members. Our training consists of two parts: externally accredited training available via our colleagues at SAC, and professionally run workshop training in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Joint NLP Practitioner and Counselling Skills Advanced training course

We have written a series of externally accredited practitioner training courses which are provided and assessed via colleagues at Stonebridge Associated Colleges. These provide in depth theoretical and knowlege training in each therapy topic. Tuition and assessment standards are enforced by externally accrediting awarding bodies (QCA approved awarding bodies). This course is designed to produce well trained life coaches with extensive understanding of counselling skills.

Professional Practice and Responsibilities in NLP

Qualifications

On completion of your course, you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1: Joint Professional NLP Practitioner and Humanistic Counselling Diploma

Joint Professional NLP Practitioner and Humanistic Counselling Diploma issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, entitling you to use the letters SAC Dip after your name.

Qualification 2: Level 5 Joint Professional NLP Practitioner and Humanistic Counselling Award

This Course leads to an NCFE Level 5 Award Certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independantly accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3). In accrediting the programme at level 5, NCFE attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 5 national qualification.

This award has been designed by Stonebridge Associated Colleges to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements. Accreditation by NCFE is a guarantee of quality. It means that this learning programme has been scrutinised and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE.
